Lorekee Tutor Notebook

The Notebook is for explanations, thread replies, scenario feedback, dosage steps, missed practice-test concepts, Study Builder outputs, flipcard decks, and your own reminders. Short notes usually work best: save the idea that helped, then edit it into words you would actually study later.

Notebook notes are AI-supported study aids for nursing education, healthcare training, dosage-math practice, and clinical reasoning review. They are not for patient care, diagnosis, treatment, medication decisions, real-time clinical decision-making, certification, or job competency validation. Verify important information with your instructor, course materials, facility policy, and current clinical references.

• Use Save to Notebook from Ask, Learning Thread replies, Scenario Practice, Dosage Tutor, Practice Tests Beta, or Study Builder outputs.
• Use Create Note inside Notebook when you want to write your own study reminder from scratch.
• Use Build Flipcards when you want to create or edit your own custom flipcard deck.
• If an Ask reply has sections, choose the sections you want to keep.
• You can save several selected sections together as one note.
• Review the editable note before saving.
• Change the title, folder, topic, tags, or note body into your own words.
• To edit later, open Notebook, choose a saved note, then use Edit in the note detail panel.
• Use Print Note when the open note is ready to become a clean study packet page.
• Use Export Note when you want a backup-style text file for one note, including more metadata than print uses.
• Use the Folder field for broad organization, such as Dosage, Pharmacology, Med-Surg, or Exam 2.
• Add tags for details you may search later, such as labs, priority, potassium, insulin, or conversions.
• Use Pin this note for high-value notes you want near the top.
• Use Review this again for notes you want to revisit before a quiz, skills check, or exam.

• Browse Saved Notes gives quick note-type views such as All Saved Notes, Pinned, Review Again, Ask Notes, Scenario Practice, Dosage Tutor, Practice Tests, Study Builder Outputs, Flipcard Decks, and Manual Notes.
• Cards View shows saved notes as readable note cards grouped by folder.
• Explorer View shows folders and compact rows for faster scanning.
• On larger screens, drag the divider between the browser pane and detail pane to give either side more room.
• Click a folder to narrow the visible note rows.
• Choose a note row or card to open the full detail panel.
• Folders are the big buckets. You can keep the suggested folder or type your own.
• Pinned notes stay easier to find when your Notebook grows.
• Review Again marks notes you want to revisit before a quiz, skills check, clinical day, or exam.
• Tags are smaller labels that help search and Advanced Criteria find related notes across folders.
• Manual notes are good for instructor tips, class reminders, or quick study rules you write yourself.

• Use Browse Saved Notes or folders first if you want to narrow the list before searching.
• Type a keyword, folder, tag, topic, learner track, or course/study area into Keyword Search.
• Click Search Keywords, or press Enter, to launch the search.
• Use Advanced Criteria when you want to combine keyword, date range, learner track, folder/course, note type, Pinned, and Review Again filters.
• Matching notes appear in the normal Cards View or Explorer View list.
• Use Clear, Clear Criteria, All Saved Notes, or All folders to return to more notes.

• Browsing, filtering, and searching only find candidate notes. They do not select notes by themselves.
• Use Select Notes to Print/Study when you want to choose individual notes.
• Click each note you want to include. The selection count shows how many notes are selected.
• Use Clear Selection if you want to start the selection over.
• In Advanced Criteria, Select Matching Notes for Print/Study selects the current matching note set for you.
• After notes are selected, use Print Selected or Build Study Set.

• Use Print Note from an open note when you want one clean study-guide page.
• Use Print Selected after selecting multiple notes to make one study packet.
• The print packet is designed for reading or print-to-PDF. It uses a light, ink-friendly layout even when the app is in dark mode.
• Print packets keep context minimal, such as study area or short topic, and avoid bulky backup metadata.
• For dosage notes, the packet focuses on the useful tutor feedback and study steps instead of printing setup clutter.
• Use your browser print or print-to-PDF window after the packet opens.

• Use Build Study Set when you want Lorekee to build review material from saved Notebook notes.
• Build from selected notes, the open note, a folder, pinned notes, Review Again notes, search results, or recent notes.
• Time Range defaults to the last 120 days so recent study history stays available. You can narrow it to recent days or expand to all time.
• Keyword Focus, Preparing For, and Depth help narrow the study set before Lorekee builds review material.
• Study Guide output turns selected notes into a readable review sheet.
• Notebook Study Checks use open-ended prompts with model answers hidden until you choose to reveal them.
• Generated Flipcard Decks start with answers hidden. Use Show Answer, Hide Answer, Show All, or Hide All to review at your pace.
• After generating Flipcards, include the cards you like, title the deck, save selected cards or all cards, and favorite the deck for easier review.
• Use the Flipcard Decks smart view to find saved decks by keyword, date range, learner track, folder/course, or favorites.
• Study Builder uses the notes you choose for the study set. It does not need to use your whole Notebook.
• After building, you can copy, export, or save the generated review material back to Notebook.

• Use Build Flipcards when you want to write your own question-and-answer cards instead of generating them from notes.
• The builder opens as a movable panel on larger screens so you can keep Notebook notes visible while writing cards.
• Use Hide to tuck the builder away temporarily, then restore it from the Flipcards tab.
• Create a new deck, or choose an existing saved deck to edit its cards.
• Each started card needs a Question Side and Answer Side before saving.
• Category, card tag, source, and Why It Matters are optional helpers for later review.
• Saved decks live in the Flipcard Decks view and can be pinned or marked Review Again like other notes.

Notebook notes save on this device and browser first. If you are signed in with an approved beta account, use the Account sync box in Notebook to start syncing notes to your account.

If this browser already has notes, Lorekee asks before copying them into your account. The original local notes stay in this browser after sync starts.

The Notebook safety box tells you whether the local browser backup is active. Lorekee keeps a local backup mirror in this same browser, but Export All is still the file backup you control.

Use Export All before switching browsers/devices, clearing browser data, or relying on notes for a major exam. Export gives you a text file you can keep in a school folder, cloud drive, or transfer to another browser with Import Notebook.

Print and export are different. Print creates a clean study packet with minimal context. Export All and Export Note create backup-style text files that may include extra metadata for transfer and recovery.

• Local backup active means the browser verified the Notebook save and the local backup mirror.
• If the main browser save ever looks broken but a local backup exists, Lorekee may ask if you want to restore it.
• If you see a Notebook safety warning, use Export All before closing the page.
• The local backup mirror is separate from account sync. It lives in the same browser as the Notebook.
• Account sync helps approved signed-in users move between browsers/devices, but Export All is still the safest user-controlled backup.
• If account sync is active, Clear All only clears this browser in the current version. Use individual Delete when you need to remove synced notes one at a time.

Approved signed-in users can use Account sync from Notebook. Export and Import Notebook remain the manual transfer method and backup option.

1. Open Notebook.
2. If you are using account sync, check that the Account sync box says synced.
3. For a file backup or manual transfer, select Export All.
4. Save the exported .txt file.
5. Send or store the file somewhere you can access from the other device.
6. Open Lorekee Tutor on the other device or browser.
7. Select Import Notebook and choose the exported .txt file.
8. Review the import preview, then confirm.

Import reads the file in that browser. It skips likely duplicates and does not clear existing notes. Import may still recognize older Lorekee or Nursing Tutor Notebook exports. Do not import files that contain real patient identifiers.

Use fictional initials or school-style examples. Do not save names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, addresses, phone numbers, photos, room numbers, or any details that could identify a real patient.
